It started to rain last night and has not stopped….Aberdeen is cloaked in a shroud of rain…those are burglar bars not prison bars…although sometimes…like today….I feel imprisoned….

Yes we thought that too when we arrived here...there is a York,a Waterloo, Kent and Aberdeen...I think the English who settled here all those years ago, were terribly homesick...I know the feeling..only I'm still looking for a place I can call home...
Tropical rain can be very heavy, I experienced that on holiday (years ago) in Indonesia !!!!
Also here in Holland I don't like it when it is so cloudy and rainy that you want to put on the lights in the middle of the day !

many thanks Els...today there has been a break in the rain...but it is all around just waiting for the moment...I have to go shopping today..as soon as I get in my car the heavens will open and shed its load...
