Window on Wednesday….reflections in Salisbury Cathedral

We have had the most wonderful two weeks wondering around the UK….the weather has been sunny and warm…one of our stops was the Salisbury Cathedral…This water font in the centre of the cathedral caught my imagination….I love water in doors as well as out….I especially like the very stillness of this water creating a wonderful mirror reflection the stained glass window above….

Wow that reflection is so perfect, I would never have guessed it was water if you had not said do. I love Salisbury Cathedral, glad you are enjoying your trip around Blighty!

Hi there Leslie, it's been a while sorry.
The water doesn't look like water at all! It's a perfect mirror!
Love your jacket (though it's much longer than I ever thought!) There's a lot of weaving to be done!!!

Hello Els...thanks for the visit...that is what I liked about it was that although it could be disturbed with the lightest breeze when still it looked solid giving a perfect reflection...the coat yes it is going to be a long project....I hope I hope i finish it before I get too old to see or sew...;-)
